Wishing all my readers a very Merry Christmas remember all we have is time.

Time is a fantastic gift to give to loved ones, friends and even ourselves. Use it wisely,  don’t miss out on the tiniest moments in life.

This is my last contribution over at the ABC OPEN website for this year please read my short 500 word piece and leave a comment over there, I love connecting with you and appreciate your opinions.

About Minuscule Moments

Everybody has a DREAM. Today is the first day of the rest of my writing life. Its a lonely world out there when you are learning the craft. This year, as the same as last year, I want to finish my first children's picture book. I have learn't many wonderful lessons on this journey. You are never too old to learn.

My frantic life has stopped for a while due to the seasonal holidays. I thought, great I can start to write again, but my body had another idea. At last, it seemed to say. Give me a break and just rest a while. So, I stare into the fire in my wood burning stove and do nothing. But perhaps, a new idea is brewing for 2014. Thanks for your piece Kath. Time is indeed precious and time to do nothing is a wonderful gift.

  4. You are so right, Kath. I can’t count the minutes I’ve wasted on someone else’s dream, when I could have done something more meaningful. The older I get, the more I get it.

    • Jacqui I think as we age we learn to say no! in a nice way and focus on what is important to us and our families. Hope you get some peace and quiet as I know how hard you work during the year my friend.

  5. Kath, you are a blessing and a joy in my life. Bless you my friend and thank you for being a constant inspiration. I hope this New Year will see your book flying off of shelves all over the world!

  6. Kath, you are so right about the tiny moments in life that can mean so much. Merry Christmas!

  7. Kate, you won my drawing for the FREE BOOK about celiac for children! Email me your mailing address and I’ll send it to you 🙂

    • Dana thank you! That is so cool! I emailed you but then I did not put my address in the email, it would cost so much to send it to Australia I would be happy with the ebook version if you have one? Made my day.

  8. Sheila says:

That was such a beautiful story and perfect for this time of year when time seems to be running out. 🙂 I agree we need to take time for family and kookaburras and anything else that pops up along the way. Hope you have a new year filled with more time and happiness!
